May Farmhouse Family Day: Outdoor Explorations
May 15, 2021 @ 11:00 am - 3:00 pm
FreeExplore the natural world with guided observations and a journal-making activity at our outdoor Free Family Day!
Explore spring on the farm with the Wyckoff House Museum! Make your own mini journal and use it to record observations as we do a nature survey on the Wyckoff grounds. Learn about the farm, play with Colonial-era toys and games, or simply enjoy a socially-distanced spring picnic with your pod.
What to expect on your visit:
- Farmhouse Family Day is free and open to all ages, ideal for children ages 4-10.
- The house museum is currently closed to the public; all activities will take place outdoors in the park and comply with social distancing protocols
- The journal-making activity will begin at 1PM. Supplies will be provided. The nature survey activity can be self-guided and will begin after journal making is finished.
- Farm activities (i.e. planting, weeding) and garden tours are limited, first-come first-served. Make sure to wear close-toed shoes and prepare to get dirty. (RSVP does not guarantee participation)
HEALTH & SAFTEY
