Summer Programs
Visits for Camps and Other Groups
The Wyckoff Farmhouse can accommodate a limited number of summer camp, summer school, day care and community center groups during the summer months. Summer programs incorporate historic learning with outdoor play or farm and garden exploration. Groups can choose from a variety of hands-on activities including butter churning, colonial games & toys, seed planting, apple cider pressing and herbal sachets.

Creative Urban Homesteading Workshops
Launched by artist Lisa Sikorski, the Wyckoff farmhouse museum presents a yearly series of hands-on workshops for adults in creative urban homesteading. Topics have explored traditional farm based skills: hand sewing, natural dying, and preservation. Employing dye plants and crops grown on the Wyckoff farm, situated in the middle Brooklyn, these workshopswill be a collaborative experiment in the lost art of learning-by-doing.
