Farmhouse Family Day: Harvest Colors

Explore our colorful environment with a natural stains and dyes-themed Family Day this September! We’ll be cooking up some dye baths and exploring the colorful plants on our farm – bring scrap fabric or old t-shirts (natural fibers only) or use some of ours. As always, stop by the Organic Farm Stand for fresh seasonal produce, and stay for a scavenger hunt, historic house tour, outdoor toys and games, and explore the color wheel with additional arts and crafts. Family Day is from 11am to 3pm, with the natural dyeing activity beginning at 1pm, and is free and open to all ages. Reservations not required but recommended.
