Farmhouse Family Day : Candle Painting

As the day get shorter and the nights get longer, lets decorate and paint candles to welcome in the upcoming Winter Solstice! Each person will get their own candle, an array of paints and will be encouraged to paint different images related to fall and winter settings.

Farmhouse Family Day is free and open to all ages, ideal for children ages 4-10. Stick around to check out our historic farmhouse, drop off food scraps for compost, and enjoy colonial-era toys and games.

Other things to know:

• This event is free to attend, RSVPs recommended.
• Family Day runs from 11am to 3pm, with the leaf craft activities beginning at 1pm. This is an all ages event, ideal for kids ages 4-10.
• Tours of the Wyckoff House will be available starting at 12pm
• Dress appropriately for the weather – Family Day takes place indoors and outdoors – and wear closed toed shoes if you plan on participating in any farm activities.
• We recommend using the restroom before your arrival. There is one port-o-san on the property.
