Insurance, Permits, and Serving Alcohol

You may use the caterer or rental company of your choice. All outside services must supply a certificate of insurance naming the The Wyckoff House & Association, Inc., New York City Department of Parks and the City of New York as additional insured.  A New York State Liquor Authority issued permit and insurance are required for beer and wine. To serve hard liquor, your caterer will need a full-service liquor license to secure the required permit from the New York State Liquor Authority. If you plan to have amplified noise, you must apply to the 67th precinct for an amplified sound permit.

Film & Photo Shoots

The Wyckoff Farmhouse and grounds make a great backdrop for you film or photoshoot. Rooms date back to the 17th and 18th Century feature original stone masonry, massive wooden beams, and fragile centuries old plaster. The exterior wood shingled farmhouse and 1.25 acre grounds provide a country backdrop right here in the city.

The Wyckoff Farmhouse has been featured in fashion shoots, feature films, shorts, and music videos.

Please note: Due to the fragility and historic sensitivity of the structure, extra care is required of photographers and crew members. There is limited electricity on the grounds; battery packs and generators are encouraged for large power needs. Depending on the size of the production and number of rooms rented, size of cast and crew may need to be limited.

Photoshoot rates start at $300. Film shoots start at $1,000 per hour.  Contact rentals@wyckoffmuseum.org to inquire about availability.
