Join us for monthly zoom calls on the third Tuesday of the month to connect with Wyckoff cousins and friends. Hosted by Board Member and Wyckoff cousin, Lisa Baker.

Each month we will have a different theme or focus. Some calls will include a presenter and others will allow for more time to chat and share stories. Learn about the goings-on at the Wyckoff House Museum from staff members. Help us determine the future of the Wyckoff family Association in the 21st century.

December 2024: Book Talk: “Catalyntje Trico: A Life in New Amsterdam”

Join educator and author, Lana Holden for a talk about real-life in New Amsterdam in the earliest days of the colony. Ms. Holden’s book, “Catalyntje Trico: A life in New Amsterdam”, is a historical fiction work that paints a picture of what life was really like. Catalyntje arrived in the earliest days of the colony, but had a long life and lived a few miles from our Wyckoff Farmhouse in Canarsie, Brooklyn. No need to have read the book, but a great opportunity to learn more about the life and times of our ancestors in New Netherland.
