CANCELLED: Smithsonian Museum Day

Message from the Smithsonian: Smithsonian Magazine Museum Day 2020 will not take place on April 4.  As a public health precaution, the Smithsonian is postponing or canceling all public events, programming and gatherings through May 3. We appreciate your understanding.

Join us for the 16th Annual Smithsonian Museum Day for tours of NYC’s oldest house! The Museum Day ticket provides free admission for two people. Tickets will be available to download starting February 27, 2020. Tours will be offered on a rolling basis between 1-4PM, with the last tour beginning at 3:30PM.

This year’s Smithsonian Museum Day will celebrate Earth Optimism and while you’re here, make sure to drop in on our first Creative Homesteading Workshop of the season! We will be exploring the process of creating natural, sustainable dyes from the black walnut tree. The Black Walnut Dye Workshop is from 2-4PM, more information and RSVP can be found here.
