Natural Dyeing Virtual Workshop

Join us as we explore the art and science of natural dyes using materials from the garden or grocery store. We’ll touch on textile history, the pH scale, and color theory as we guide you through the steps to dye clothes at home!
This program is intended for children ages 4 – 10 and great for families to participate together. If you would like a materials list to follow along, email programs@wyckoffmuseum.org

This virtual workshop is presented in partnership with Culture Pass, a program for cardholding patrons of New York City’s public libraries, the Brooklyn Public Library, New York Public Library, and Queens Public Library.
Libraries are still closed due to COVID-19 restrictions but in order to participate you are able to register for a library e-card in the meantime to access all their digital offerings.
