Krik? Krak! Haitian Creole Story Time

Join the Wyckoff House for Haitian Creole Story Time with Jaden Timoun, a Kreyòl language immersion program for children based in Brooklyn. At Jaden Timoun, children have hands-on concrete experiences in song, movement, art, and other original activities – all while being immersed in and learning Haitian Creole! In the spirit of oral storytelling that is popular in Haitian Culture, at Haitian Creole Story Time, children and families will hear original short stories in Haitian Creole, created specifically for Jaden Timoun. This will be a fun and engaging opportunity to expose young children to the language of the Haitian people. Stories will be accompanied by song and movement and English translations will be made available.
