Join us for an afternoon of exploring the life cycle, function and wonder of fungi! This workshop will cover the basics of outdoor cultivation of edible mushrooms and participants will learn how to prepare different types of wood, handle mushroom spawn, and maintain an outdoor mushroom system at home.

This workshop is a free demonstration to attend and participants will get hands-on experience helping us establish the Wyckoff outdoor mushroom Farm.

Know before you attend:

• We will be working outdoors at the Wyckoff Farm so participants are encouraged to dress for the mess during this hands-on activity.
• The demonstration is free to attend. Mushroom log kits will be available to purchase for $20 materials fee. Supplies are limited.
• Workshop is for participants ages 13+
