Public Tours – 4th of July & America 250

July 4 @ 11:00 am 2:00 pm

This summer, experience New York’s oldest house during our public tour hours, offered every Saturday. In July and August, visitors will have the opportunity to learn about daily life in Brooklyn on the eve of the American Revolution. Commemorate America’s 250th  while being guided through three furnished rooms of the historic house, reflecting periods from the 17th-century Dutch Colonial Era to the early 19th-century.

Our park grounds and garden are open from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with guided tours of the historic house offered each hour starting at 11:30 AM. Tour times are as follows:

  • 11:30 AM – “Family Style” Tour, well-suited for young historians
  • 12:30 PM
  • 1:30 PM

Visitors will be guided through three furnished rooms of the historic house, reflecting periods from the 17th-century Dutch Colonial Era to the early 19th-century. After exploring the history of the Wyckoff House, enjoy a restful moment in our garden or on the covered patio.
