Breukelen Farmers Summer Camp

Promotional postcard for Breukelen Farmers Summer Camp, 2013Each summer young farmers and gardeners have a unique opportunity to explore past and present farming practices on the historic Wyckoff Farm. Campers ages 7 to 12 will learn about the plant life cycle from seed to harvest as well as the importance of composting and other green initiatives. Hands-on art projects and botanic investigations will allow campers to explore various aspects of plant life, from cultivated crops to free growing weeds. Each one-week session will culminate in a presentation of the campers’ artistic and planted achievements, as well as food prepared by campers from the Wyckoff garden.

Breukelen Farmers Summer Camp will be on hiatus. We hope to see you again in Summer 2017!
